                                        DEBORAH WAGNER

Deborah Wagner started her career at an editorial house. She worked as a film editor and video editor. Then made the switch bringing an editor’s eye to a new career as an agency producer. Deborah worked at creatively focused agencies like Della Femina, Oglivy & Mather, Chiat Day and DFS. She left the agency side to start Wagner/English. The company offered clients a full-service, freelance production department. It grew to 40 producers servicing not just agencies but clients such as Cuisinart, Isotoner and K-Mart.

Since then Deborah has produced for every major agency in New York creating spots for IBM, Merrill Lynch, Wendy’s, RC Cola, Yoplait, Mercedes Benz, Reebok, Bell Atlantic, American Express and more. She has produced in California, partnering with Mike Ovitz at The Creative Artists Agency in Los Angeles to create commercials for Coca-Cola.

In 2001, Deborah went to Grey Global Group as the Executive Producer for Clairol, Covergirl, Max Factor, Allergan and GSK Brands. Then moved to the Grey Health Care Group on Boehringer Ingelheim and Essilor products.

Deborah has produced spots all over the world supervising multi-million dollar projects and getting great work out of “no budget” productions. Deborah’s extensive experience in television, radio and digital production means that when she evaluates work, she sees more than just numbers. Importantly she recognizes and understands the needs of a client. Beyond her ability to negotiate costs and manage production budgets, Deborah’s primary responsibility is to protect the creative vision. Her experience in so many varied aspects of production allows her to protect the Brands creative integrity and budgets. Deborah guest lectures at the Art Institute of Phoenix.
